using up scraps to make a (S)teak sandwich, a bit thick and the teak is on the outside. I am beginning to get the hang of turning lark. (until I see some of the other offerings on this forum).

Guess you turned it as a normal bowl,and sliced it on the bandsaw ?
Looks good,pleasantly different but retaining the beauty of the timber.
