I was lucky enough to be gifted the bag / apron / toolroll / toolbet set for xmas which arrived a few days ago, but there was an issue with the toolbelt rig - the leather belt section was damaged and might split in a short time. I contacted them direct as the recipient and they sent out a replacement the very next day, with a money off voucher to boot.

I know they often get a bad rap on here, but on this occasion at least they responded with great service, so I just thought I'd mention it for people who've never used them and might have a tilted view of them.

I'm not a big fan, but it's good to hear of customer service like this.

In reality, Rutlands would not need to change much to change their rep. Here's hoping this is the start of things to come.

Recently bought a guide rail which had no instructions. Could not figure out how the connecting piece to extend it worked. Contacted Rutlands and a customer services adviser went to their warehouse to open a pack and seek how it could be configured. Came back with sound advice which resolved the problem. Rutlands have much to sell that is overpriced but I have bought, I think, wisely and have 5 good products from them. I have had no problems with them.
