Hi Folks

Recently purchased the above from Rutlands and set it up on my Festool midi really easily with all the supplied connections connecting straight on. However the flexi hose supplied keeps collapsing back into a tightly sprung coil as originally supplied then lifting the dust deputy off the deck towards the midi. This is somewhat frustrating, however does exactly what it says very well. Anyone any tips or suggest different hose?

Could it just be muscle memory? The hose would have been squashed tight in the box for transport since shipped over in the ISO container from China.

Perhaps if you stretch it out to full lenght and hold it that way with clamps or such and gently heat it with a heat gun then leave it for a day or so it might remain somewhere between fully extended and the state you are finding it in.

Thank I'll try that on my replacement one... Festool hose came off of tool, sucked on to the carpet almighty bag! It had sucked the dust cyclone in and took the plastic with it!!!! Sending it back to Rutlands, for a replacement.
