Have got a Scheppach wet sharpening system and am trying to sharpen a Router Straight Bit (1/2") without a lot of success. Thinking that the blade might be too tough for the wheel. Anybody out there have any comments

Hi and welcome
Your router bit, I bet is TCT in which case youb will need to use a diamond stone to sharpen it or send it away to a saw docter be done on a machine.
On the other hand if I'm wrong and you have a High speed steel router cutter then yes you can sharpen it with a oil/water stone.
Don't sharpen on the outside though only on the faces!
