W - O - W!!

Amazing finish. And pretty amazing how different it looks in different light. Which one is closest to real life?

The darker ones are a truer representation. The light one has been polluted by the black backdrop somehow.

It actually looks really like antique walnut, a rich dark sumptuous colour. It just oozes quality, no wonder woods like Rosewood, mahogany and Ebony were used extensively for fine furniture, they really are in a completely different league from modern soft woods
