Also made another marquetry box this week. This time with roses, a bit more difficult than orchids.

I really like that push button catch, where did you get it from?
Maybe a daft question but will the glue on the mitre be strong enough or is there something else we cant see?

The button catch comes from LeeValley.com. To confess... it's a false mitre. The core of the box is plywood which I veneered. So no worry about the strenght.
