Roller blind

Hi my mrs has come back with a roller blind what is the best way to cut this to size? Would you cut it with scissors or stanly blade or would it be able to be cut in a mitre saw rolled tight? It's just a cardboard tube in the middle.

I don't know if it's the best way, but last time I had to do this I marked a line with a sharp pencil and a straight edge and used wallpaper shears to make nice long straight cuts along the line.

I cut mine on the bandsaw and it did a superb job.
