Hi everyone. Quite new here but wish to pick your brains. About 8 years ago I bought a planer thicknesser to save it from the scrapheap. As it turned out it was the best £102 i've ever spent and it has served me well as a fully accurate working machine. I was wondering if anyone has any more info. after years of searching i've finally found a model guide for the exact same for the 1900 Paris exhibition. I know that they moved the height adjust handle shortly after this but other than that i have no info or knowledge!. What I have is identical and original apart from someone fitting an electric motor Any info greatfully accepted! Alan

The mother-lode for this sort of info is (as you must know?) http://www.owwm.org where a quick search for Robinson Planer led me to this page where you can download an 1896 catalogue which might be of interest!

Nice looking machine btw - I think there are plenty of people here who would like to see some pictures!
