Is there anywhere in the uk that supplied replacement banjo's for lathes? Specifically an old draper wtl90, but I'm guessing the exact dimentions are, if not standardised, common?

Ask them, not all machine parts are listed on their site, they've sold variants of this pattern lath in the thousands and hold a lot of component spares.

Did you have any luck with Axminster? If not - try going to CCW tools . Com - find the right part number then search google on that...I used this a few times for my old lathe which wasn't actually a draper but everything is interchangeable! Got new speed control handle / unit, new tail stock wheel, capacitor etc etc not sure if this is what you need but banjo is split into 5/6 different parts - http://draper.thetoolstoredirect.co.uk/ ... ST-BRACKET

Thats a uselful link - saved!

Are there such things as aftermarket bits? The original Draper one is a bit of a poor design (the tool rest post can drop right down onto the cam and jam it).
