I recently did a french polishing class and the tutor recommended Blanchon Hard Wax Oil for kitchen worktops.

The Osmo is a hard wax oil, so I suspect he was just being brand friendly.

You are correct. The tutor stressed his preference for Blanchon as in his experience it seemed to dry quicker but I guess each person would have their favourite brand.

I'm game if it's quicker than the Osmo rapid stuff. Any idea on drying times? I hate waiting :)
