Hello,

I was tightening up the table tilt locking lever on my BS350 because the table started to move despite being "locked" and the lever literally snapped off in my hand.. not good.

I have sourced a replacement, but in fear of snapping another, does anyone have some recommendations of ways I might be able to improve the table locking mechanism? I was thinking maybe a rubber washer might grip the trunion better? or is metal on metal a better mechanism?

I've tightened up every other bolt but the only thing keeping the table locked is this bolt and lever, anyone got an idea?

Thanks

That's funny, until yesterday the subject of your post was "Jet JDP-15 pillar drill review?"

In respect of your question today about improving the locking mechanism on your Record Power BS350 bandsaw table, I’ve got nothing to suggest, but as I own one I would be interested in any replies posted.

haha yes, I bought the drill anyways so decided to edit this post rather than making a new one.

Is the table on your BS350 rock solid once tightened up?
