Does anyone have experience of the Proxxon DH40? I know that Proxxon have a good reputation and the reviews I have found seem good but I would be interested to hear from anyone who uses one. One specific task I have is thicknessing flamed maple down from 2.5mm to 1.0mm. It is important that the finish is good because if I have to scrape a lot to finish off it rather defeats the object of the exercise.
