Propane space heaters

I have a Clarke Little Devil (original - maybe around 2005). I don't use it too much but got a new cylinder for it today. Seems the thread size is POL105 but the regulator I have is bigger - I'm guessing 7/8" but that is a guess. It's not been 15 years since I used it, maybe 3 or 4 years.

Did I miss something and has there been a change in thread size, or did I not ask for the correct thing? The gas is a 19kg Flogas red cylinder.

Yup, definitely propane. I've measured the inlet on the cylinder and it seems to be the 5/8" of POL105. Just the existing regulator is something like 7/8"

Just in case anyone else ever has this problem... I was given a fork lift truck (FLT) propane cylinder which has a different valve. All exchanged and fits fine now.
