Yep, looks like it could be bad on the ol' fingers. As I'm not into storing the empty cutter boxes I would make the blade storage allow them to slip in place.

For me, I like the Sargent's looks. But am ignorant as to whether all the pieces-parts directly correspond to the Stanley 55. I would even trade mine for a Sargent version...
