pre cat lacquer over water based eggshell?????

so........................

when i built my kitchen i painted the cabinets in water based eggshell..........

which hasn't worn very well....

i have since discovered the joys of pre cat lacquer and a hvlp spray gun.

can i just go over the eggshell with the lacquer???

fortunately i nver got around to making the doors and drawerr fronts so these won't be a problem... i just need to do the carcasses....

can you put pre cat on with a small roller???

Simple answer is no! It depends on how long the water based paint has been on but I wouldn't like to try it myself. You can use a roller for the AC but you will need to work fast. HTH. :wink:
