Post boxes finished

I was asked to build a post box to integrate into this fence;

So I came up with this;

I decided to use tanalised softwood, which I think the client has now decided he is going to paint to match the gate. The name plates on the front are cut using my 3d pantograph in oiled oak to match the "hares" signpost I already built for the client.

Anyway, it's now finished...

Looks good Knapper. That timber, have you planned the tanalised wood?

It's some t&g from a local timber yard. I have run some of it over the planer to true it up, and some of it's just cleaned up with a RAS.
