Thanks to all who replied about shimming for different board thicknesses. For anyone who didn't get one, it looks like this model is now discontinued so it might be worth keeping an eye out to see if anyone else starts discounting to clear their stocks.

dave yeah i think i might... its a really good bit of kit..
i was gonna get the g3 (or r3) kit orig for 30-35quid but so glad i umm'd and arrr'd and this came up... its clever with those supports for bigger boards having the depth gauge bit on it... couple of holders for the drill bits and away...

how soon are they gonna run out of screws then selling all these kits lol...

do we have to get kreg screws? and if so where else sells em...

I bought it specifically to make the face frame for my router table, but I'll use it for the new kitchen we are designing.
