My second post in 5 minutes, pardon me for clogging up the forum.

My cousin recently renovated a house and gave me the task of doing something with old doors, floorboards, skirting boards and a chunk of church type paneling that had been ripped out.
She wanted something a bit rustic looking, think i came through on that score

It's a mix of timber, some dipped, some not, so she's looking for a finish that will go some way to blend the parts together. She has a some Fiddes Shellac Sealer that she thinks to put on it to start with. Question is, what type of product could go on top of it?

Thanks if you can help.

Thanks for the reply. Yes all the paint has been removed, some was dipped and has left the wood with that typical washed out appearance. Some of it I stripped by hand, that left the surface slightly oily (they knew how make paint in those days) though it has been pretty well sanded since.
