Phone Call Scam - Watch Out!

Just had a phone call asking to support the Foresters' Charity from a "Steve Jones" by my being featured in a future publication. Some of the information he had about me was out of date which rang warning bells. Basically he wanted a commitment from me there and then and won't send me details to consider at my leisure. I refused and ended the call.

I did a bit of internet searching and found this scam

The mobile number used was 07785 469176. Google it and you see some other comments.

Since found out that the caller has been targeting those listed on the RPT and AWGB web sites as well as other makers and galleries from the arts and craft community.
