I have been reliably informed that Paskins have gone into (voluntary) liquidation.

Never good news for yet another woodworking supplier to disappear.
Alexam (Malcolm) will be disappointed as Paskins was one of his favourite places to visit.

I just checked the web site. Nothing on the main page but if you go onto the shopping links, you get the message "catalogue suspended" for all of the items I looked at.

That really is a big shame - Really nice guys and gals in there, (about 2 mins walk from the kid's judo club, so I could sneak out now and again).

Regarding the closure of Paskins in Kidderminster, Wigley DIY in Stourport on Severn now have a small department selling a good variety of woodturning tools and blanks. Kate (who has now sadly passed away) who worked at Paskins moved the woodturning section to Wigley DIY when they closed down.
