I'm leaning towards this bloke, http://www.linseedpaintcompany.co.uk/index.html he seems to have a non BS sort of approach to his products and tells it straight. It looks like he has sussed the mildew thing out as well. I like that you can customise this paint simply by using pigment and thinners to best suit your project.

Quite frankly, I think I like the look of linseed oil paint because its a traditional low tech product that you have some control over, sort of makes you feel like you can customise it and might eventually know what you are doing and actually write 'what it says on the tin' yourself. At least then, if it fails, it will be my own rogerup
I'm a bit fed up with products that are promoted as Modern, New, Improved, and Latest. I just read, 'Designed by an accountant' and avoid them now.
