It certainly looks like that, also getting Brazilian Mahogany is going to be tricky as it is on the banned import list.

But you could use something else such as Sapele.

If you live near Dewsbury though for £10 I would go for it, if it is all solid and not veneered panels, even for the wood to make boxes etc.

It looks to me like one of the Italian kits I used to sell. Their chairs and cabinets are not bad but require considerable finishing to make anything of them.

The carving certainly looks machined to me.
