i have this mitre gauge (well the dewalt version) and was not impressed with the tolerances of the build particularly the main pivots. the idea of the triangle is to make it more rigid instead it had at least a millimetre of play at the end of the fence. my cure worked well. with the pin in centre punch the metal around the pivot voila play eliminated (at least for a while). good design poor execution. somebody who imported this from the states would be gutted.
