Oak Burr's (3)...Comments Welcome Please ...Good Or Bad !

3 Oak Burr bowls that i made ...the first one i made first and about 14months ago now
The second and third i made last week
first one is 550mm and 75mm
2nd is 500mm and 75mm
3rd is 250mm and 80mm

Sanded down to 400... cellulose sanding sealer applied, denibbed with shaveings , finished with Liberon fine Pastewax on the outside and Food safe oil on the inside

lovely i think i'd be tempted to round off the third one but some very nice looking pieces there. look like REAL wood.

Very good!! I prefer the middle one of the three and am not sure about the natural edge of the third one; somehow it just looks out of balance.

Don't usually like natural edged stuff (it's the dust that accumulates in the hollows ), but that one is really pleasing.

All three look great, good job on the naturel edge if you are holding on to them it will most likley look the better.

Thanks for the comments so far ...the natural edge bowl doesnt look as good in the foto as it does in real time
Think i'll keep it as it is
