O2 coverage

my wife has 02 and hasn't had a signal for nearly 2 days now in the notts area, anybody else having problems with it, and how can i check the coverage around here. Do we have to keep their contract until it ends or would they sue if we moved elsewhere..

Usually if there is a major problem it will be well reported. Have you tried to reboot the phone - remove battery and sim, leave for a couple of minutes and put back. Have you tried the phone at another location. What about contacting O2 and asking them - you are paying for the service.

Definitely worth a reboot if it's an iphone.
Mine occasionally cant find O2 if it's been out of a signal area for a while.

thanks guys, apparently there is a mast failure local to us, some have complained and got a credit on their phone..

Not the first that o2 has problems with their coverage... Look at this Guardian article from July (if you haven't seen it yet...)
I was a client at o2 before but I switched a few months ago because the signal was really going on my nerves!
