Took a gamble with this off the bay and I am well pleased but who made it is a difficult thing to determine :?:

What to you reckon is it RL or DC?
I think DC.

Well, David Charlesworth hasn't popped up to say it's his, so I think RL...

DC seems to be the original, RL being stamped over it. I also have tools with owners marks over the makers stamp. Very frustrating when the makers stamp becomes unreadable.

Nice plane tough! Looks quite early.

Just hope another is found and documented :roll: 8)
Should have took a better of the mould as it is quite intricate and did you all notice it is pre "spring" ??
Unfortunately there is no name on the iron...
