I am just mulling over the idea of replacing my 8x10 flat roof shed with a larger 14x10 apex roof shed.
1, is there any standard angle for the roof
2, What would the best size wood be for the frame be.
3, what wood you use for a good strong floor. It will be wood as i dont want concrete.
Any suggestions appreciated

Think a lot depends on what you are going to cover it with.
Usually the manufacturer makes some recommendations for min angle

Generally the steeper the better.

Apex max height 4metres.

At 4metres the pitch will be in the region of 30 -35 deg. My workshed has a double pitch 10-6" span +7" eaves. The pitch ultimately was determined by my choice of using corrugated iron (7 footers). So ended up at 28 deg.

One benefit to going for maximum pitch is maximising useful storage space in roof void.

cheers,

Ike
