New texturing tool

This new texturing tool from Henry Taylor was mentioned on the GMC website a few days ago. Looks like pretty straightforward way to add texture.
Not sure how much it costs.

Nick Agar was demonstrating the tool at Strictly Woodturning this weekend, he did tell us the price - if i was listening properly I think he said it was £37 or £38. He had a prototype and a production model with him, they were both good quality bits of kit.

looks interesting, pretty much dremel burrs held in a bearing free to rotate and a handle.

38 quid though !

this was also shown at my club last week, looks quite good for end grain if you are doing boxes a lot, although i wonder how a dremel burr would work in the dremmel without it being switched on.

Would the tip in a Dremel type tool revolve enough? Certainly worth a try.

ah yes Sorry I missed the link. It seems to work very well. At strictly Nick was getting people to suggest different ways of using it. Almost brain storming. We all came up with plenty of interesting combinations. As I say, video coming soon.
