New project

I have not been doing much turning lately, to cold in my work shop, so I have started a new project after I have installed a radiator in there.
I am going to make a fairground Gallopers rounder bout.
I have turned the base with some beech and have brought a lazy susan so it will revolve.
Before I get to far a head I need to mark out the boards, I will try a CD marker pen first.
I am making it all up as I go along so will keep you all posted.

Well it now looks like a wedding cake stand, I'll have to bake a cake.
I have grooved the boards on the top so no need for the CD marker but it is smaller than anticipated.
May have to have a re think or make it in to a chair about.
