Hi and thanks for being a part of this forum !!!

A little about myself !

I'm Swedish but live in Norway, and im 52 years old !!!

Woodturning is a new hobby for me, although i like making new stuff !!!
I watch many videos on the "tube" on woodturning !!!

I bought an old woodlathe !!!

and it works !!

Made some tools !

And done my first pieces !!!

It's really fun, and more will come !!!

Tomorrow i shall buy me another used old lathe with a faceplate and some tools, im really excited about it !!!

Beware of tools made from old files - unless they are re tempered they are brittle and dangerous. If you wish to make your own tools there are some good threads here, and you can buy tool steel and hss cheaply enough on Amazon/Ebay.
