The brilliant Matthias Wandel has come up with a great design for a "pantorouter" which is not an exterminator of Christmas entertainment but a routing machine based on a pantograph design.

I'd like to make one of these. Does anyone have access to the motor from a fixed base router that is suitable for UK electrical supply?

I've looked at the various double machines from Bosch and Dewalt and the single one from Makita, but it seems like an awful lot of money to pay when I already have two perfectly good plunge routers and don't need anything other than the motor. I was wondering if anyone knows of a second hand one or redundent one that I could build into and leave in the project.
