Hi can anyone tell me what this new legislation is about regarding external doors, which came into force in june, or has this information been discussed before on another post. I have 8 external doors to make for a farm house thats being renovated and i need to know if i can make them. From what i gather they need to have a C E mark and u value calculations.

There was some discussion about this here although emphasising windows but principle.rules are the same.
We truly are anally fixated on over-regulation particularly when it comes to doors. Open the damn thing a couple of times in the day and you'll have lost more heat through that then a month of heat loss from a single glazed panel.

Once the penny, sorry euro/cent, drops will they insist on airlocks or maybe go back to the old two door passage seen in many a terraced house?
