new lathe need bits

Gents and Ladies, I have just got myself a used jet 1236 lathe, disabled so on a tight buget lol

I have found it to be a great improvement on my woodmen kl800 that i had before. but it is missing the face plate.
Does anyone have a spare or old one they wish to sell ?? or where near to me could I buy one at a reasonable price new
I am on the Northants/Bucks border and am happy to pick if that is better for you

I have a spare, 3/4" 16tpi from a clarke lathe. If your's is the same thread you can have it. Pm me your address and i'll pop it in the post.

Have a look at Axminster tools they have different sized ones just make sure your thread matches.

I think your is a 1" X 8 but double check first

sorry never heard of a Jet 1236 lathe,are sure you don`t mean a 1220 or a 1015 ?,as these are the small lathes Jet make ,cheers,

I bought a 1" by 8 tpi tap and make sacrificial face plates from thick ply
I think I got it from that place in didcot
