How come it's a "new unused" box? Do they work for the company that makes & prints the Clifton plane boxes or what? Surely at some point it had a Clifton plane in it - in which case it should be listed as "used" but in excellent condition?

I supose if you werre going to sell your clifton plane, if you could get the box cheap, you could then sell the plane, as "still in original box" and get more for it

This is almost certainly why people buy boxes for electronic goods - also they can use them to give a veneer of respectability to a nicked ipod or whatever - "ooh it cant be stolen , its still got the original box"
