I seem to have a regular use for them although not on any large scale, I have been using an electric one for some time which has proved to be less than useless bent & jammed brads even in the softest wood :x I have now bought a compressor so "Air" seems to be the way to go. I have been looking at the Makita AF600 http://www.makitauk.com/product/fasteni ... ifications and the Axi TP15 http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-t5 ... rad-nailer

Both are 16 swg, Makita has a depth control & takes 15-64 mm brads the Axi, not sure abt depth control need to confirm that, takes 20-50 mm brads.

Obviously the Makita has a better brad capacity and is a bit more expensive.

Would appreciate any advice on either of the guns or indeed recommendations on other makes

Not bothered about dual use, brad/staple unless it came with reliability =D>

Ive used a few white axi nail guns, they are quite good, although they have been the 18gauge range.

I like the bostitch guns, light and reliable
