Someone wants to give my hoop handles a home
Get ready.
All dressed up and ready to go.
My most reliable bit of kit of all - vintage 1910 - says it weighs nearly a Stone. Ouch.
It's quite satisfying to save something from the bin, and I'm most grateful to the forum.
The box is my best packaging secret. It is a little bigger than a brick, very robust, and is used to send hard disk drives to computer shops from wholesalers. Usually most small computer shops get through 10-20 a month, and if you offer to take them off their hands it saves them money from disposal and reuses the packaging as is, which is the best form of recycling.
They are nearly a standard size so can be stacked, and usually come with one or two pieces of foam padding. Ideal for this kind of thing.
