Bought a lathe last Nov and have been making about 3 items per week. Here are some of the better ones. Hope you like.

Spalted beech with friction polish finish. Beech was not spalted too much though and there were quite a few soft spots i had to use superglue on. I think this is one of my favourite shapes i have made so far :D
 
Iroko polished outside with friction polish, inside is left rough straight from bowl gouge and finished with danish oil. I like the contrasting textures and also finish.

The walnut one is my favourite (mainly because I like the shape/form)

Getting near the "new shelves required" stage then :lol:

I think this is one of my favourite shapes i have made so far

I like the proportions of those pieces also.
