Yes, you will further reduce file size substantially . Just check on one or two that you are still happy with the look of thew pix.

Sorry I am still confused. I have just reduced the DPI on all my images from 300 to 96 and the file sizes (as displayed in windows explorer) have remained the same.

You are right. I am confusing myself as well as you with some half-remembered stuff that is probably more to do with prints than screen resolutions . Apologies for leading you up the garden path!

Thanks, I appriciate your help. I'll have to see if the image reductions prevent the bandwidth problems. I do not think I will be getting too many hits anyway so I will save subscription hosts for later.
