Hi all,
I just thought I'd raise this before someone else does!
If you are trying to follow my dovetail article in this month's GW, some of the photos are not quite right. The text refers to two tails whilst some of the photos clearly show three. The text is internally consistent.
The problem was that some of my photos were out of focus, and I didn't realise until I'd downloaded them onto my PC, so I had to take some more, but by then I was on to the next drawer. I should have made that clear in the text and I didn't. Sorry.
The principles of the technique, are, however, the same no matter how many tails you have - take away the spacers when cutting the tails, and add them when cutting the pins.
