this is my home made cyclone any questions

this was made from pieces of mdf cut to wedge shapes then glued then top and bottom put on then i fiber glassed it round the out side as i was unsure if it would take the pressure, was concerned it would not work but works fine hardly any dust in the bag .

Looks good , I am looking at a similar project soon . Could I be cheeky enough to ask if anyone has any reference or knows of a magic formula to size /height /width ratios to make the cyclone most effective ! I know it must vary depending on the machine ,hp/lp but there must be some sort of guide .
