After waiting since early October when I first emailed Dave Jeske I've finally got them to play with. Dave Jeske has certainly come up with something special and well worth the wait. :)

So as yet unused and needing their first honing here they are :)

What wood did you say those handles were again Sir?

It is astounding!

Am I seeing right or are those socket shaped ferrules or real sockets with a step.....I take it the latter?

Gorgeous...simply gorgeous!

Jim

These are by fare the most beautiful butt chisels, I've seen! I like dark woods with silver coloured metal.

Beautiful 8) love the cocobolo handles, are they resin impregnated?

To quote the letter from Dave Jeske, The cocobolo handles are finished with just a polish and a final coating of carnauba wax. If they were made from curly maple they would have had a few coats of oil/varnish before the wax.

They are lovely.
The timber looks stunning. It looks like an excellent attention to detail with the grain of the handles all running paralell with the blade edge.

May i cheekily ask how much?

I'm not jealous, really not jealous

What can I say LN, they are beautiful, if they handle like all the other BS tools then they'll be a delight to use.
