I'll never understand why people pay over the odds on ebay!

I've been watching an Axminster RCD100H vac on their ebay auction site. As it's a "customer returned" item which has had it's handle glued and repaired, I lost interest when the bidding reached £70.

It went for £112 - as Axminster currently sell these at £99.95, some gullible person has just paid an extra 12 quid for a sub standard item #-o

Can't be anyone on here?

Anybody who doesn't check the new price of anything still available is an silly person. Ebay has some wonderful bargains but that doesn't mean it's always the cheapest. Caveat emptor.
