MRMDF and Ply boards - Essex / East London suppliers

which suppliers do people use for boards (MRMDF + furniture grade Ply) in the Essex / East london area?

I'm getting really frustrated with the delivery charges of a lot of the suppliers I call. They are trades suppliers - fair enough - but I only need two or three sheets at a time, and £50 delivery doesn't make sense... surely some of my (hobbyist) business is better than none for them?

I've fired off an email to RP Panels, waiting for a response.

wow - pricey. They've worked their costs into that price..

I use Builders depot, some drivers are excellent but some are a bit grumpy. £20 for delivery of 10 sheets of ply

I'm not surprised at £50 charge for delivery, it's the usual sort of price for delivering pallets or full sheets. You need to find a mate with a transit and give him a drink for collecting the sheets for you
