motor brakes minimax combi

Anyone know how to set up the brakes on a Minimax lab300?
In the manual it shows an allen key being poked into a hole in the middle the fan end of the motor. I can see the hole OK but there's nothing in it; no slots, posi, allen key, star drive, nothing to engage.

Is it a lab 300 or a lab 30? does it not tell you how to do it in the manual?

300. Yes it does say how to do it in the manual, but see above.

Ah ok,mine is the lab 30 but the brakes work ok so I have not had the need to try to adjust them so I can't really help sorry.

Possibly a grub screw?

I've oft wondered if Jacob does not have a screw loose at times!
Now we know that he's possibly missing one altogether!
