Hello all, after moving house and bording and insulating my garage this is my first project in it.
This is my take on a morris style chair with a few mods for our liking, that I am making for my wife, its made from AWO
All timber cut planed and labled

Mortices marked out and cut into legs

Side frames cut and ready to be assembled

Side frame glued and clamped

Seat assembley made and glued into place with the side frames

Back frame made and assembled with a dowel attachment so the back can be tilted into 3 positions

Arms drilled to take a dowel pin so that the backreast can be put into three positions

All I need to do now is sand it down and oil it and have the seat and back pad made and it will be finnished
Will post more photos once complete
Many thanks for looking
Dave

Very nice. Joinery looks nice and crisp. I'm a bit nervous about the adjustable dowels coming loose over time.

Regards,
