Well have been able to do some more in the shed and finish a couple of pieces.

The first is a Box made from Cherry and Sapele it stands 5" tall and 3 1/22 across

And the second is from an unknown piece of wood ans stands 2 1/4" tall and 3 1/22 across

I agree with those posted above. The shape on the box is very nice and not one you see very often without the bells and whistles.

Wildman (or anyone else), What is Eucalyptus like to turn?
My parents have a Tree in their garden they want chopped down and I didn't know if it was usable.

I have some Eucalyptus that has been seasoning for about a year. I tried turning it wet and it turned lovely but severe distortion and cracking as it dried.
 
First of all sorry to Graham and BM for not seeing their replies when I first posted.

And to everyone thank you for the comments I enjoy turning things like this as it can sometimes be a challenge
