Hi , my first post on this site as I have only just joined. I have a Metabo 450 a Duo orbital sander. This sander is getting on now but still a great tool, last week a smell of burning! Took of the pad and could see the brake ring had gone hard and was wearing away. I fitted a new brake ring and pad today but the pad and ring seem to be rubbing and almost melting, the new pad is already ruined after a 2 second burst. Any help would be good as I must have done something wrong. Many thanks
