Mdf finish

I will be building some mdf wardrobes and alcove units, i like the look of the mdf finish, i was wondering what i could use to keep the look of the mdf finish but want to protect from dirt etc , i dont like the look of gloss varnish.

Yes sure you can apply a clear coat on your mdf.
Since mdf usually absorb lot finishing materials so i think the polyurethane 2 component is the best choice for your mdf.
You can choose the low gloss PU top coat as a final top coat.
