MDF delaminating - can it be fixed.

These pics are of painted 'decorative end panels' of our kitchen units - installed 2008, both show signs of delaminating.

Image 8480 is of the bottom edge of the fridge freezer housing and has probably got wet when the freezer has been defrosted.

Image 8481 is the front edge of the panel on a floor standing cupboard - there are small vertical cracks all along this edge. Enlarge the pic to see cracks.

How should I treat these prior to some re-painting.

superglue and clamps is about the best you are going to do. MDF doesn't have laminations, they are cracks. :)
bit of wood filler afterwards and paint to your hearts contend.
 
Thin superglue will wick into the MDF and harden it up, then as mention you can fill and sand back into shape.
