My experience of old cast iron machines is that they are well, worth a punt when complete, but with bits missing its really hard to restore to working condition.

Its one thing to repair broken bits but to make from scratch is another.

If you like a challange though, you know we love a restore thread on here :D
 
Advice taken

I've got no issues with the 'take apart piece by piece, clean, lube/paint, put back together' kind of resto job... I have no desire to get a list of parts made up however! Parts which no doubt have zero plans because nobody has ever heard of the company! The headache of sourcing the correct VFD is quite enough I think
